Before any such transfer, we conduct a privacy impact assessment as required by Law 25 and put in place contractual safeguards to ensure your information receives a level of protection equivalent to that afforded under Quebec law.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Inquiry data submitted through our Connect form is retained for up to 36 months from the date of your last interaction, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
9. Security
We implement reasonable physical, organizational, and technological measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. This includes encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a confidentiality incident involving your personal information that presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec as required by law.
